MARIAN FOUNTAIN – BIOGRAPHY

Born 1960 in New Zealand, Marian has lived and worked in Auckland, London, Rome, and lives in Paris since 1991.

1979-1982:             Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture and Design, University of Auckland, NZ

1985-1986:             Scuola della Medaglia, Rome Mint, Italy

Fountain has exhibited at the British Museum, The National Gallery of Scotland, the Museo Archeologico of Milan, York Museum, Auckland Museum, and the French Mint.

With about 500 edited sculptures of her own, Fountain is also very open to investing different fields, as shown by her other commissioned works: medals, commemorations, corporate gifts, design, interior decoration…
